I believe in the resiliency and creativity of human beings to face and heal from life's challenges.

I believe each person comes into this world with their unique innate wisdom.
Life circumstances can temporarily hinder full access to this wisdom.  Therapy is one vehicle by which a person can re-connect with their true self.

These are some of the issues we can address together:
  • life transitions
  • anxiety and depression
  • stress management
  • relationship issues (both personal and professional)
  • communication
  • multi-cultural, cross-cultural issues
  • issues related to race/ethnicity/gender
  • aging issues
  • family dynamics
  • spiritual exploration

My therapy style:
  • respects who you are and where you are in your process.
  • is collaborative and interactive
  • provides a safe, trusting environment
  • engages a holistic approach - mind, body and spirit connection.  While we all have the ability to use our    minds well, our bodies also have a deep wisdom which contributes greatly to our healing process.
  • invites creativity, spontaneity, humor
  • invites your Authentic self

I have a diverse personal and professional experience which enables me to blend a variety of therapy approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, somatic body-oriented therapy, mindfulness practices, EMDR, stress management, effective communication skills development.
