What brings you here?
One of my greatest interests is communication: between family members, partners, friends and people of different cultures. I enjoy helping people in articulating what they are feeling, realizing what gets in the way of them knowing how to navigate the rough passages in their lives and expressing their thoughts and feelings to those with whom they interact. I have worked with our Collective in its various forms: The California Counseling Institute, 4614 California, and now as a California Psychotherapy Collective, helping individuals and couples.
I believe that in the rush of their lives, people often think that they don’t have the time to know what to do next. As a result of challenging circumstances, they become stuck, confused and don’t know where to turn. They hesitate, not wanting to burden family or friends with problems that they don’t know how to express or solve.
This is where therapy can be helpful. If you feel confused and don’t know where to turn you can seek help and make the call. I will listen carefully, give you feedback that fits your situation, help you confront disparities in your behavior or reasoning processes, and suggest concrete ideas to change behavior and communication. We will work together to unlock insights that you, very likely, already have within you.
